A Few Days Left...

Only 3 days until I leave on my London adventure! With all the preparation that has gone into this trip, I cannot believe it's almost time to say goodbye to friends and family for almost two months! For those of you who do not know exactly what I am doing in the UK, I will explain. KU offers internships internationally through a program called EUSA. EUSA has programs all over the world (Madrid, Dublin, London, San Francisco, France, etc.). Once you have applied and been accepted by EUSA, they guarantee to find you an internship in the country of your choice. I chose London and was recently granted my internship placement. I will intern in the account management department and creative department with a small advertising agency called Baby Creative. Located in the heart of London, Baby Creative provides advertising expertise at an affordable cost. Some of their clients include Elizabeth Arden, Raleigh, Alliance Cornhill, Urban Life and Feel Good Drinks. Along with my internship I will take a class on professionalism, take several EUSA planned cultural visits and do as much traveling as possible!

I am traveling with a few good friends, so we can all experience the culture together. Some of the things we plan on doing while abroad include attending Wimbledon and concerts in Hyde Park. Some of the trips we plan on taking include Paris, Dublin and Amsterdam. EUSA has set us up in international student housing also in the heart of London. I am expecting to meet not only students from the UK, but students from all over the world!

It's going to be an amazing experience, so I look forward to keeping you updated on my day to day adventures in the heart of London!
